At Elevate Eisteddfod, we believe in the power of growth, creativity, and individual expression. Our team of Mentors and Evaluators plays an integral role in guiding and supporting performers as they reach their full potential, while honoring their unique artistic journey.
Our Mentors and Evaluators are selected based on their extensive experience and knowledge in the performing arts, including professional musicians, vocal coaches, industry professionals, and educators. They are not here to rank participants but to provide constructive, positive, and valuable feedback that encourages personal growth.
Empowering Growth Over Competition
At Elevate Eisteddfod, we don’t believe in a traditional first, second, or third-place ranking system. Instead, our Mentors and Evaluators recognize outstanding performances in several key areas, celebrating each performer’s unique strengths and the hard work they’ve put into their craft.
Rather than focusing on competition, our goal is to encourage performers to strive for excellence within themselves. Each award recognizes a specific aspect of artistry, and our feedback encourages performers to continue refining their skills, explore their creativity, and celebrate their own progress.
Criteria for Awards and Feedback
Our Mentors and Evaluators use the following criteria when providing awards and feedback:

Artistic Expression and Emotional Connection: The ability to convey the heart and soul of the performance, creating a connection with the audience.

Vocal Technique and Control: Precision in vocal delivery, including pitch, tone, and control over vocal range.

Stage Presence and Energy: Confidence and command on stage, including engagement with the audience and overall energy.
